Raya Auto; one of Rayas subsidiaries is hiring a Localization/R&D Manager
What will you do:
- Select local suppliers in accordance with the ATF 16949 Supplier Selection Process.
- Conduct and share local parts feasibility studies with OEM suppliers.
- Budget for local parts supplier projects, including manufacturing processes, quality tools, and logistics.
- Continuously work on minimizing local content costs.
- Manage Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PAP) implementation activities.
- Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are in place to address local supplier issues.
- Create and drive improvement plans for local parts suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.
- Cooperate with Production and Quality Departments to improve processes, assembly operations, and overall shop performance.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all vehicle models.
- Oversee supplier quality management, ensuring suppliers meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Own the R&D scope for localization projects, integrating new technologies and innovations to enhance product quality and performance.
Requirements:
What will you need:
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in localization management
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Automotive Industry knowledge
- Proficiency in English languages is a must
- Training expertise
